Drivetrain 2 - SYE kit

This is closely related to the build-up of the sm465 trans. It covers the SYE kit for the NP-231 transfer casethat came stock in my TJ. This is covered everywhere online. I'll try and add to that conversation without being another how-to article. If you're asking yourself whether it's worth it or if you can do it,  I'm here to say YES! This kit is cheap for what it is.. and it's quicker to do this than the transmission adaptation. I was lucky enough to already have my transfer case out. I dropped it off at the trans shop they swapped out the input shaft for the new one and assembled per the directions and it was done. Nothing really exciting here just preventative parts. I did this because I have a lifted suspension and lots of torque. I should never have problems with my drive shafts/u-joints or drive line vibrations.  The SYE kit (slip yoke eliminator) was a good buy. I picked mine up from Advanced Adapters for $189.00. You can also get the same SYE kit with a new driveshaft. I chose to wait because I need to take a final measurement after I get my 4bt mounted.
