Wiring Reverse Lights

Here in Virginia we have 'safety inspections'. These requires your vehicle to function safely and adhere to a certain list of standards.  Equipment that is in place must work. Which brings us to the reverse lights. This was actually one of the easy mods to complete.  The SM-465 had a reverse light switch installed in the housing. This was good. These switches are very simple and even on other transmissions their sole purpose it to complete a circuit.  I found the original jeep harness connector and wired it directly to the SM-465 reverse light switch.  Voila.. it worked. Nothing to it.
