Diesel jeep project

This is a site dedicated to the pictures and info regarding converting a 1997 Jeep Wrangler to a 4BT Cummins diesel-powered daily driver.

The project began 3-3-2010 with the purchase of the 1997 4cyl Jeep Wrangler (TJ). Since then it has come a long way. The real work started in April with the purchase of the 2 axles and the box truck. I've worked on it consistently for about 2 nights a week for about 3-4 hours and the occasional weekend. I'd say by the time it runs and drives they'll be over... 120 hours of work in it + help from friends. Although let's be realistic. Jeeps are never "finished". Stay tuned and check back often.
